They serve freshly cooked traditional pub food. The Hele Bay is open all day and offers a comprehensive menu, traditional ales, beer garden, children's games room and soft play area, ample parking and a warm welcome. Old Corn Mill and Tea Room - 5 minutes walk from Hele Valley

An oasis in the corner of Hele Village. Unique in North Devon, the 16th century watermill, complete with working 18ft overshot water wheel. Rescued from dereliction and restored between 1974 and 1978. Contains many items of milling equipment from bygone years, including a 1920’s National Engine. Hele Bay Beach - 7 minute walk from Hele Valley

Set in a small sheltered cove in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Hele Bay Beach is a part sand, part shingle beach and has been awarded the Blue Flag in recognition for its safe clean waters. The Beach is popular with canoeists, rock fishing and perfect for families that don't want an over crowded beach. There are numerous rock pools to explore with your fishing nets and secret smugglers caves to discover. Dogs are allowed in restricted areas. At very low tide it is possible to clamber around to 'Fishing Rock' and 'Blythes Cove'.

The South West Coastal Path - 7 Minutes walk away

This walk begins in the popular resort of Ilfracombe. The path climbs out of Ilfracombe to Hillsborough, giving excellent views back to Ilfracombe. From here the path passes Hele Bay then rounds the coast to the small Harbour at Watermouth before rounding the coast into the town of Combe Martin.
