We had a fabulous week at Hele Valley despite having mainly soggy weather! The site is very clean and tidy, the caravan was cosy and we were able to visit lots of great places. The site's location is perfect, lovely and quiet, and plenty to walk to as well as drive. Thanks especially to Sarah on reception for being so very friendly and telling us about the carnival which was great fun. We'll definitely be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hele Valley despite the soggy weather, we were greeted by warm and friendly staff who recommended a visit to Chambercombe Manor which we enjoyed a great deal. We even managed trips to Clovelly, Eden Project and spent a couple of afternoons rock pooling. Beautiful surroundings and an ideal location, we would enjoy another visit for sure!

We had our first holiday in North Devon 30 years ago when the children were small and we stayed at Hele Valley Caravan Park then. 30 years on we have been back several times to the site which has improved dramatically.
The site and the caravans are imaculately clean and well maintained and the park is well regulated so there are never any problems with noise.

The staff are always very friendly, attentive, cheerful to speak to and ready to do anything they can to help which is a great big plus.

We have a Springer Spaniel that goes everywhere with us, so a park that accepts well behaved dogs is very important.
I used to have an extremely stressful and tiring career, but when we came to this area, the stress used to melt away. We come here at least once a year now and this year, our youngest son came with his wife and their son who is now 19 months old.

There is so much beauty within easy reach of the park that it makes a great base to stay at. We will be back.

Our holiday to Hele Valley Holiday Park in August 2008 was very enjoyable. It was our first holiday with our eleven month old daughter. She can be seen in the hot tub with her Mummy at Oak Lodge. We hope to visit the Park again someday soon. Thanks to all staff for making our stay so special.
