Here at Hele Valley we have a wonderful team that keep the Park running smoothly and looking so beautiful.
Dave has been at Hele Valley since 1972 when he moved from Birmingham with his family and ran the Park together with his parents and his sister and her family. Nowadays Dave likes to take back seat and leaves the Park management to his wife Sandra, but he can still be seen in Reception daily drinking his coffee, reading his newspaper and teasing the Reception team.
Sandra, Dave’s wife joined the Hele Valley team in 1985. She is active member of the team and manages the Park to the highest standard. When Sandra can escape her desk and telephone, she will often be found tending to the beautiful gardens. Together with Dave, Sandra lives on site and is always available for our guest and owners.
Steve moved to Ilfracombe with his parents in 1972, after a wonderful childhood of exploring the land surrounding the Park with his brothers and sisters, Steve left school at sixteen and began helping his dad around the Park. Steve is always available out of hours as he also lives on site with his partner Jo and their little baby, Ted. You will often see him happily pass by on his lawn mower or tractor.
Rachel joined us in June 2016 after 29 years in Spain. She has really got stuck into her new role and all the various duties that entails, from answering emails to pulling on her wellies and helping the maintenance team. She is a lively and friendly soul, so please don't hesitate to say hi when you see her around the park.
After training in Reception as our Junior Receptionist in 2013, Rhys went off to travel the world. On his return earlier this year we were quick to ring him and ask if he would like to come back to Hele Valley as a fully-fledged Receptionist. Rhys has an excellent relationship with our guests and a very professional and friendly manner and has since been promoted to Head Receptionist. He is a much loved member of our team and always has a smile for everyone.
Gemma is one of our lovely receptionists at Hele Valley, joining us in March 2016. She grew up in the countryside in a small quaint village called Lee Bay near Ilfracombe and absolutely loves the country life. Gemma loves horses and riding and taking care of them in her spare time. She previously worked for a bank but after bringing up her children now enjoys working park time at Hele Valley. Gemma is always smiling and loves greeting all the guests to our park.

You will most likely hear Cheryl chuckling away with her partner in crime Rikki before you set eyes on her. Together they keep all our accommodations and our shower block immaculate for all our guests. Cheryl has been a very funny and jolly addition to our team at Hele Valley.
Mr C, as he is affectionately known by all the staff, guests and owners, will always be seen riding up and down the Park in his buggy. He has worked at the Hele Valley since 2002. Together with his assistant Chris, he carries out maintenance work around the Park. If you visit the Hele Bay Pub while you are here, you may also see him at the bar where he is always happy to have a friendly chat with the guests and owners.
Chris joined us Hele Valley earlier this year and is now a well-loved member of our team. He assists Mr C with maintaining the Park. All the female staff can’t help but mother Chris and he is very spoilt at Hele Valley Chris always has a smile on his face as is a favourite with all our guests, especially the four legged variety.
